Crossbody bag made from vintage handwoven cotton sourced from Shanghai. Measuring 42cm wide, 67cm long (inc strap). 

Yumo Yuan is a London based textile designer and artist who graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2023 with a BA in Textile Design. Yumo now works from Cockpit Studios where he designs and weaves his own silks inspired by antique home-made Chinese silks. As well as this Yumo makes beautiful one-of-a-kind bags from vintage Chinese cotton. The cotton fabric was hand spun and hand woven by people from the Shanghai area in China where the tradition can be traced back to the late Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). Each roll of fabric is unique and small, allowing Yumo to make only a few bags per roll.
